I’m so glad you’re here! I know it can feel kind of daunting to hire someone to photograph some of the most intimate, important moments in your life so this page is to help you get to know me as a person to make that process easier.

First and foremost, you should know I’m very passionate about capturing authenticity and emotion. I love romance and celebrating love in all forms, so my priority is to always document you and that connection with the people you love, whether that’s with a romantic partner, your child, parent, best friend, etc. Obviously as a wedding photographer, I primarily work with couples, but I fully believe wedding days are about documenting all the important people in your life. Plus, outside of weddings I’m always down for a creative portrait session and love working with families too.

I grew up in the Austin, Texas area and graduated from Texas State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. After graduating, I worked in marketing and communications for a bit, but my passion has always been photography so I had to pursue it.

I’ve always been the friend with a camera for my loved ones, but I became freelance in 2016 and officially launched Jordana Lee Photography in 2022.

While I’m based out of New Braunfels, Texas, I also serve couples all over the hill country and Texas. I LOVE to travel, so if you’re considering a destination wedding, I want to chat! Because I love to hit the road and I understand that it can feel overwhelming to find your dream photographer and budget for a wedding, I now include all Texas-based travel in my wedding packages so there’s no hidden fees.

Because I come from a journalistic background, I tend to lean more toward a candid, documentary style, but I love a good editorial shot as well. On wedding days, I like to be a fly on the wall as much as possible so I’m not intruding on your day and making it all about photos. When it comes to portrait time, though, I’m more than happy to give you direction so you don’t feel lost. I understand that not everyone is immediately natural in front of a camera —which is why my goal is to make you feel comfortable enough to show me your true self and capture you as you are, just in an artistic light. I want the couples and families I work with to sit back and enjoy each other’s company and let me worry about capturing all the little details.

On a more personal level, I’m a mom to two little boys and two dogs. In my spare time, you can find me spending time with them, reading, listening to Taylor Swift, sippin’ coffee, or traveling. I love a good thrifted trinket and I’m so inspired by all things vintage — films, books, vinyl, and love stories.

This is a woman-owned small business so the fact that you’re considering booking with me is such an honor. I can’t thank you enough for supporting me and my art.

I’m now booking 2025 + 2026! LGBTQ+ friendly & inclusively minded—because every love story is worth celebrating. I’m also offering all-inclusive wedding day and wedding weekend packages, including 35mm film and complimentary engagement sessions.

I’d love to turn your day into art! Let’s make sure your love story is told authentically.

ETHOS

My work is about preserving what’s honest and genuine. I do this because I believe your story deserves to be told in a way that feels real, not performative. I want your photos to bring you right back to the moment, years from now. I’m fully invested in creating art with care, intention, and heart.

VALUES

HONEST STORYTELLING

TIMELESS NOSTALGIA

Inspired by film, vintage keepsakes, and earthy textures, my work evokes the feeling of flipping through a cherished photo album.

HEARTFELT INTENTION

I’m a one-woman show, which means every part of your experience is handled with care. Your story is my focus.

Great candids start with trust. I strive to create a comfortable, relaxed environment so you can be yourselves.

From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, she made us feel completely comfortable, offering just the right amount of guidance while keeping everything natural and fun. Her flexibility with travel and planning made the entire process stress-free, and she went above and beyond to capture details we hadn’t even thought of.
